Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. Here is a full list of the 277 past athlete of the week winners.
This week, we had seven Rowell’s Garage male athlete of the week nominations. Parker Deprey put in 42 points to lead Caribou to a win over Fort Kent. Deprey joins Alexa Massey (12-30-12), and Donovan Savage (1-3-16) as student/athletes from Caribou to earn athlete of the week honors.

Parker Deprey- Caribou- Basketball had 42 points in 81-61 win over Fort Kent.
Runner up
Connor Robertson- Orono- Basketball- scored 36 points (6 three pointers) and 16 rebounds in 71-58 win over John Bapst. Had seven points and 10 rebounds in 52-41 win over.
Other nominations
Jeremy Richard- Foxcroft – Basketball- scored 17 points in 53-46 win over MDI.
Bryce Lausier- Hampden – Basketball- had 28 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists in 76-54 win over Camden Hills .
Elijah Wood- PVHS- Basketball- scored 27 points in 62-41 win over Bangor Christian. Had 20 points in 60-40 win over Lee Academy.
Eben Cooley- PCHS- Basketball- recorded 22 points,10 rebounds, four steals, and four assists in 67-58 loss to Greenville.
Coleman Brown – Deer Isle-Stonington- recorded 20 points, eight blocks, and seven assists in leading DIS to win over Machias.
