In Lincoln, Emily Tolman went 5 of 6 from the free throw line in the 4th quarter, including making both ends of a 1-1 with 4.6 seconds left to secure the 42-38 victory for the Lynx. Tolman had a game high 21 pts. and added four steals. Katelyn Tolman added 16 pts and tbree steals for the Lynx who go to 4-4 on the season. Kathryn Libby was a huge factor on the glass, bringing down several key rebounds in the final couple minutes. Libby finished with 14 rebounds for the game. Houlton was led by Freshman Mia Henderson with a strong performance. Mia had 17 pts (15 in second half). Rebecca Howe added seven points for the Shires who fall to 2-3 on the season.
The Lynx host PCHS on Friday 1/4 at 7:00 p.m. and Houlton will host Stearns on Friday 1/4 at 5:30 p.m.
