This weekend, the CMCC Mustangs women’s basketball team won their third straight YSCC title. The Mustangs also got a commitment from Kylee Joyce from Narraguagus. Joyce was a key part of a Knights team that went 17-2 this past season.
“Not only is Kylee a great basketball player, but she is an even better young woman. She impacts the games in so many ways, but since we are such a defensive minded program, what really stood out to us, was her desire and ability to take offensive fouls,”CMCC coach Andrew Morang said .”The college game is of course, bigger, faster, stronger, so her commitment to our strength and conditioning program this summer will be very important for her development. Kylee is an incredibly hard-worker, and her blue collar mindset will help her be very successful here at CM, on the court, and in the classroom. We are thrilled to get our first downeast player.”
Joyce was a freshman on the Narraguagus team that won the 2016 state championship.
