Bowdoin women’s basketball heading to second straight final four

The Bowdoin women’s basketball team will be heading to the division III final four for the second straight season after they defeated Ithaca College 87-61 on Saturday night at Brunswick.

The Polar Bears went on an 11-0 run in the first quarter and never looked back in there quarterfinal win. Bowdoin had five players finish in double figures, including Presque Isle grad Hannah Graham. She had 10 points and five rebounds.

Taylor Choate led the way for the Polar Bears with 21 points, six assists, five rebounds, and three steals. Abby Kelly had 18 points and seven rebounds. Maddie Hasson adder 16 points and 11 rebounds while Samantha Roy had 13 points and five assists. Bowdoin (30-1) will take on St. Thomas (Minn) in a NCAA semifinal game on Friday, March 15th
