The Husson Eagles softball team overcame a 3-0 deficit to defeat Westfield State 9-5 on Monday afternoon at Leesburg, Florida.
Arika Brochu had two doubles, three RBI, and pitched 4.2 innings of relief to earn the pitching win for the Eagles. Tamara Aunchman smacked a three run homer while Olivia Smith hit a solo shot. Smith hit a grand slam in a Eagles victory earlier on Monday.
Bri Brochu had two hits. Chloe Gorey had one hit and one RBI. Katie Walker, Kylie Cunningham, and Shelby Burge had one hit each. Husson (3-3) will have Tuesday off before playing two more games at Florida on Wednesday.
