Central high school 2019 baseball preview

Strengths: Experienced seniors along with many underclassmen who stepped in last year as part of a rebuilding year. Pitching will be a strength 3 very solid starters and plenty of young arms to fill in. Very athletic squad.
Challenges: Keeping every player focused and finding balance in the lineup. We need to fill a couple positions and it may take a few games to figure out the roll of each player.

“We expect to improve from last year. But it’s a grind, so time will tell. I’m just really excited to see what this group can do starting April 16th.”
Weather permitting, the Red Devils are scheduled to play at Dexter on Tuesday, April 16th. The first home game is scheduled for April 18th against Hermon.
