Nate Coombs pitched six innings, allowing just two unearned runs on 11 hits and seven strike outs to pace Oceanside to their first win of the season with a 10-2 final over Mt. View at Rockland on Monday afternoon. The Mariners plated four in the 1st and three more in the 3rd to control the game. Ben Ripley led Oceanside with three hits, while Jonah Carlson drove in three runs and Maguire LeBlanc two more.
Logan Curtis and Damien Doughty had three hits each for Mt. View, while Draedyn Furrow and Noah Jacobs collected RBIs for the Mustangs.
