The Cleveland Indians scored in each of the first seven innings and held on for 14-9 win over the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park on Wednesday night.
The Indians scored three runs in the third inning to take a lead (6-3) they would never give back. Carlos Santana powered the offensive explosion for Cleveland. Santana reached base five times, with three hits, four runs scored, and five RBI. The Indians had seven players with at least two hits.
Jackie Bradley JR had three hits, including a homer for the Red Sox.

Christian Vazquez also had three hits. Andrew Benintendi, Mookie Betts, and Xander Bogaerts had two hits each. Benintendi, Bogaerts, and Betts each hit a home run .
Ryan Weber (1-1) struggled on the mound for the Red Sox. Weber allowed seven runs in four innings. Josh Taylor, Colten Brewer, and Hector Velesquez also struggled.
The Red Sox will start a four game series at Yankee Stadium on Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. with a Chris Sale/JA Happ pitching matchup scheduled.
