If there is one thing we know, it’s that Danny Ainge always has a plan and on the night of the start of free agency. Ainge shows his master skills once again by making a big free agent splash in the form of Hornets point guard, Kemba Walker. Walker who is 29 years old plans to sign a 4 year deal worth 141 million dollars to come to Boston, and possibly cement a legacy with a historic franchise.
Celtics who lose Kyrie Irving to the Nets in free agency were able to replace one star with another a lot quicker than many thought.
In his career Walker has averaged 19.8 points per game, with 5.5 assists per game which is expected to rise with a team with a lot of young and good shooters where dispersing the ball will be easier.
Walker is an alum of UConn where he made a name for himself and is expected to bring a good veteran leadership to a young talented Celtics team.
