Maine Maritime Academy was selected as the favorite in the preseason North Atlantic Conference (NAC) women’s soccer coaches poll. Maine Maritime finished with six first place votes. Thomas, UMF, and Husson were selected second through fourth respectively.
The Beavers finished with two first place votes. Being picked third is fine with UMF as they won the conference title as the number three seed last season. Husson finished with the other first place vote. Click here for the full poll.
Maine Maritime and Thomas each open their regular season on August 30th with home games. Husson will travel to St. Joes for their opener on September 1st. UMF will also open their season against St. Joes. The Beavers will start their season at home on September 4th. Click here for the schedule for all NAC women’s soccer teams.
