Stevens suffered the injury in the second quarter of the Black Bears season opening 42-14 win over Sacred Heart last Friday in Orono and never returned. The junior from Toronto, Ontario was coming off a sophomore season where he led the team with 120 tackles. He was a 2019 preseason second team All-CAA choice as well as a candidate as an FCS All-American.
