In Howland, PVHS rolled to a Homecoming victory 4-0 over PCHS of Guilford. Lexi Ireland gave the Howlers the early lead in front of the huge crowd with her goal off a Morgan Banks assist with 22 minutes left in the first half. PVHS held the 1-0 lead into halftime, with a 16-2 shot advantage.
Holly Loring received a Lexi Ireland cross and sent a left footed redirect past the PCHS keeper. Ireland converted a penalty kick with 19 minutes to go in the 2nd half. Lexi Ireland set up Leine McKechnie for the fourth goal, giving Ireland a hand in all scores on the day. PVHS goalkeepers Emilee Ireland and Marissa Hawley combined for 4 saves on 5 shots for the shutout. PCHS keeper Lauren Robinson finished with 12 saves on 35 shots. The Howlers improve to 7-0, and face Lee Academy Monday in Howland.
