Penobscot Valley High School continues their undefeated season in Greenville on Saturday with a 2-1 win over the Lakers in a boys soccer clash. The Howlers started the scoring when Zach Mitchell netted a Reece Carter header during a scramble in front of the net. With four minutes left in the first half Camden Harmon slipped one past PVHS keeper Lance Neal to go into halftime tied 1-1. The teams continued to battle back and forth with the draw until Bryce Seeley drilled a deflection from a Zach Doore shot to put the Howlers on top.
The Lakers continued to battle but were unable to find the back of the net. Jack Morehouse finished the game for the Lakers with 22 saves on 25 shots. Lance Neal had some key saves to help the Howlers secure the win, he ended the game with 14 saves on 16 shots.
