Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. This week, we had 8 Rowell’s Garage female athlete of the week nominations. Peyton Grant had six goals, including three in a Dexter girls soccer prelim win over Washington Academy. This is the fourth athlete of the week honor for Grant and her second in three weeks

- Peyton Grant- Dexter – scored three goals in 4-0 win over George Stevens. Had three goals and one assist in 4-1 class C prelim win over Washington Academy.
