Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. This week, we had eight Rowell’s Garage male athlete of the week nominations. Myles Brown averaged 25.5 points in two Deer Isle-Stonington wins in the past week. Brown also averaged 11 assists and eight rebounds. Brown recorded a triple double in a Mariners win over Greenville. Deer Isle-Stonington has a 7-1 record and is on a seven game winning streak.
