Jayson Tatum led six players in double figures with 21 points on Monday night, to lead the Boston Celtics to a win in consecutive games with a 113-101 victory over the Chicago Bulls at TD Garden in Boston.
Boston (27-11) used a 13-1 first quarter run and led 28-14 after the opening 12 minutes, and 55-37 at the break. The Bulls did outscore the hosts by 12 in the third quarter to cut it to six, but the Celtics would push it back to 17 in the fourth to win comfortably.
Tatum added six rebounds to his team high point total in the Boston win. Jaylen Brown had 19 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Enes Kanter had 15 points and nine rebounds. Kemba Walker also added 14 points, Marcus Smart had 12, and Grant Williams had 11 points. Zach Levine led Chicago in the loss with a game high 30 points and five rebounds. The Bulls are now 14-27. Boston will host Detroit Wednesday night. The Celtics currently hold the second best record in the NBA, a half game better than Miami, Denver, and Utah and also own the third best home record at 16-3.
