Laney Harding from Penobscot Valley high school will be playing her college basketball at Central Maine Community College. The Mustangs have won two national championships, including last season. Harding was part of the 2018/2019 Howlers team that won the class C north regional championship.
“CMCC will add a player in Harding whose true love is basketball. She’s a sponge about learning the game and understands the value of balanced pieces to be our best as a team,”PVHS coach Nate Case said. “She is our “Zone Killer”, I’d put money on her in a 3 point contest against anyone. She rebounds very well for a guard and is strong enough to defend multiple positions. She’s a gym rat that is always looking to improve her game.”
@laneyharding20 of PVHS will be joining the #cmladymustangs next year. The sharpshooting senior will help stretch defenses next year. 🏀🐴 #cmccmaine #cmmustangs #mesports #varsitymaine @EasternMESports
