On Saturday afternoon at the Augusta Civic Center the state cheering competition took center stage. In class B, Hermon won the state championship, Ellsworth finished as class B runner up. In class C, Sumner wins the state championship with Lisbon finishing as runner up.
Class A and D competition will be Saturday night and winners will be posted later.
