Here is an explanation on how we got the list for top athlete nominees from each school.
They are each of the athlete of the week winners throughout the years. The athlete of the week winners (1 female and 1 male) come from the nominations that come in each week. The nominations come from the public – parents, coaches, community members, etc.
Yes, there will be some well deserved student/athletes that will be left off, just like there is anytime a list like this is created. Hopefully when sports start back up whenever that may be, you will send in your athlete of the week nominations so the next time we do top athlete in either one year or ten years there are less omissions.
