Speedway 95 in Hermon announced on their Facebook page Friday afternoon that after some consultation and discussions with the state of Maine, they will be re-opening the Grandstand Saturday night for fans.
While no concession stand will be open at the moment and only 200 fans allowed to get tickets that can only be purchased online, this is a good step forward and a good sign for fans to be able to attend live sporting events in the state. Racing has been going on since July 1 at the track, but the only spectators allowed to this point has been folks who were in the pit area on the individual drivers list.
