The Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros both picked up their first wins of the National League and American League Championship Series on Wednesday night.
The Dodgers cut their NLCS deficit to the Atlanta Braves to 2-1 by scoring a record 11 first inning runs and rolled to a 15-3 win at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Meanwhile at Petco Park in San Diego, the Houston Astros avoided elimination and a sweep when George Springer hit a tie breaking 405 foot two-run homer to left field in the fourth inning leading to a 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Tampa still leads the ALCS 3-1.
The league championship series continues on Thursday at 5:07 p.m. with the ALCS as Tampa Bay looks to finish off Houston again and win their first pennant since 2008. The NLCS Game 4 is set for a 8:08 first pitch in Texas. You can read the recaps from the two games on Wednesday night here-
