Loring received the pass then quickly sent a blast to the back of the net for the 1-0 Howler lead. With six minutes left to go in the half, Emma Buck scored off a Rebecca Carson corner kick.
Penobscot Valley defense managed to hold Penquis to one shot on goal each half to secure the victory. The Howlers continued a relentless offensive attack, recording 25 shot on net in the first half and 15 in the second half. For Penobscot Valley (8-1), Emilee Ireland earned the shutout. The Howlers face the Schenck Wolverines next Tuesday for the Covid Cup.
