Max Muncy and Austin Barnes each had two RBI, and the Los Angeles Dodgers used some strong starting pitching from Walker Buehler to take a 2-1 lead in the World Series with a 6-2 game three win over the Tampa Bay Rays in Arlington, Texas on Friday night.

With two outs in the top of the first inning, Justin Turner took Tampa Bay starter Charlie Morton deep for a solo homerun and an early 1-0 lead. Muncy had what turned out to be the game winning hit with a two run single in the third for the Dodgers. Los Angeles extended it to 5-0 in the fourth on a sacrifice RBI bunt by Barnes that scored Cody Bellinger, and then an RBI single from Mookie Betts. Willy Adames doubled in a run for Tampa in the bottom of the fifth, before Barnes drove in his second of the night with a solo homerun in the sixth. Randy Arozarena would get just his second hit so far in the series with a two out solo homer in the bottom of the ninth. Buehler got the win on the mound by going 6.0 innings and allowing just one run on three hits with 10 strikeouts. Morton took the loss going 4.1 innings and getting touched up for five runs on seven hits. Turner, Muncy, and Betts all had two hits to lead the way in the Los Angeles victory. Tampa Bay was held to just four hits, but Arozarena did tie a record with just three other players in MLB history with eight homeruns so far this postseason. Game four is Saturday night at 8:08 p.m. as Ryan Yarborough goes to the mound to try to tie the series for the Rays, while Julio Urias tries to help the Dodgers take a stranglehold 3-1 advantage.
