It’s been a back and forth at the top of the standings in the Eastern Maine Sports staff weekly NFL picks contest as we head into the halfway mark with Week 8. Chris Lessner regained the first place spot with a 12-2 mark in Week 7. Lessner has a three game lead on Marc Calnan and Jeff Hoak who both went 9-5, and Anthony DelMonaco who was in at 8-6. Cassidy Lessner also went 8-6 and is nine off the pace. The biggest game this week will be an AFC North showdown between 6-0 Pittsburgh and 5-1 Baltimore for first place in that division. Cam Newton could be playing for his job for 2-4 New England who tries to break their three game losing streak when they visit 5-2 Buffalo. Here are last weeks results, season standings, and then the Week 8 projections-
Chris (12-2) 69-35-1
Marc (9-5) 66-38-1
Jeff (9-5) 66-38-1
Anthony (8-6) 66-38-1
