In an announcement made at the end of last week, the Boston Red Sox and Portland Sea Dogs announced they reached an agreement on a 10 year deal to keep their affiliation as the Double A team of the parent club through at least the 2030 season.
The 2021 season is the 19th for Portland in affiliation with Boston. The Sea Dogs have been in the playoffs five times, winning division titles in 2005 and 2014, and capturing the only title in franchise history in 2006. Here is the full press release courtesy of the Portland Sea Dogs-
