The Boston Celtics put six players in double figures on Friday night led by 28 points from Kemba Walker to defeat the Atlanta Hawks 121-109 at TD Garden in Boston.
Boston (15-14) bounced back after an eight point loss to Atlanta on Wednesday night. The Celtics built a 25 point halftime lead and had four scorers put up 15 or more. Walker added five rebounds and six assists. Jayson Tatum had 25 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Tristan Thompson and Jaylen Brown had 17 points a piece, with Thompson adding five rebounds and three assists and Brown with four rebounds and six assists. Daniel Theis also had 14 points, eight rebounds, and four assists while Robert Williams III had 12 points and seven rebounds. Trae Young had 31 points and 11 assists, and Clint Capela had 24 points points and 15 rebounds for 12-17 Atlanta. Boston will visit New Orleans to take on the Pelicans Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
