Boston Celtics star forward Jaylen Brown will miss the remainder of the NBA season with a torn ligament in his left wrist, the team announced Monday.
The statement said Brown learned of the torn ligament this past weekend and is expected to have surgery later this week. He has missed the last three games with a sprained ankle, which was sustained during a collision with teammate Jayson Tatum back on May 2nd in a loss to the Portland Trailblazers. He has averaged 24.7 points per game this season and 3.8 assists, both career highs in 58 games to go along with 6.0 rebounds. Boston is currently 35-33 and sits in 7th place in the Eastern Conference with four regular season games left.
