Sinacola taken in the MLB Draft by the SF Giants

After a sensational junior season at the University of Maine, right handed pitcher Nicholas Sinacola was drafted in the seventh round (206th overall) by the San Francisco Giants on Monday afternoon in the 2021 Major League Baseball Draft.

The North Attleboro, Massachusetts native went 9-3 this past spring season with the Black Bears with a 2.04 ERA setting the school record and America East record for strikeouts in one season. He only allowed 18 earned runs in 79.1 innings pitched and struck out 139 hitters with just a .204 batting average against. You can read the full press release from the University of Maine here-
