MILO— Jillean Poliquin had three goals and one assist to lead the Dexter Tigers girls soccer team to a 7-1 win over Penquis on Saturday morning.
Claire Fogler got the scoring started for the Tigers on an assist from Poliquin. The next three goals came from Poliquin.
Cally Gudroe, Abby Corson, and Jozlynn Paige rounded out the scoring for Dexter. Abigail Conlogue scored on a penalty kick for the Patriots with 6:49 left in the game to end the scoring for both teams.
Jasmine Lewis made 1 save on 2 shots.
Hope Lovell made 13 saves on 27 shots for Penquis. Dexter (1-0-1) is scheduled to play at Orono on Wednesday. Penquis (1-2) is scheduled to play at Howland against PVHS on Tuesday.
