The PCHS Pirated girls soccer team earned a 4-3 victory over Bangor Christian Saturday in their home opener.
It was the first win of the season for the Pirates. Kendall Kimball opened up the scoring for the Pirates on a penalty kick with 30:47 left in the first half. Brylee Ricker followed that up to give the Pirates a 2-0 lead at 23:55, off an assist from Abbey Ricker.
Bangor Christian would then score three straight goals before the half, Kate Linnehan at 20:59, Grace Lewis at 14:03, and Kate Linnehan again at 0:18.
Kimball evened up the score for the Pirates on a second penalty kick with 31:47 left in the second half. Molly Sipple scored the game winner for the Pirates with 10:31 remaining in the game. Lauren Robinson had eight saves for the PCHS, and McKenzie Hobert had 16 saves for Bangor Christian.
