Strong second half lifts PCHS to girls soccer homecoming win over Lee

The PCHS girls soccer team scored two second half goals to earn a 3-0 win over Lee Academy in the Pirates homecoming game on Saturday afternoon.

Ariana Fanjoy scored first for the Pirates with 9:30 left in the first half, off a cross from Kendall Kimball. The Pirates would make it 2-0 as Kimball would score a goal of her own with 20:20 remaining in the second half, with the assist going to Molly Sipple. With 3:17 remaining, Grace Buehne scored off a cross from Abbey Ricker. PCHS outshot Lee 30-4. Lauren Robinson had two saves, and earned her first shutout of the season for the Pirates. Vermanzani had 23 saves for Lee.
