Due to positive COVID-19 cases within the Northeastern women’s basketball program, the Huskies have canceled their scheduled non-conference game with Maine that was set to be played at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
The game was going to be the last non-conference matchup of the season for Maine, and the contest will not be made up. The Black Bears (3-7), who snapped a four game losing streak with a comeback win over Dartmouth on Sunday, will now return to action on Thursday, December 30 when they open up their America East schedule with a trip to Burlington to battle the Vermont Catamounts at 6 p.m.
