The Nokomis Warriors fell to the Skowhegan Riverhawks in Skowhegan on Thursday January 6th, 76-23.
The Riverhawks jumped out to an early start leading the Warriors 45-4 at the half.
Nokomis’ Bri Townsend led the Warriors with 9 points going 2 for 2 from the line. Emberli Michaud chipped in six points, sinking two three pointers. Freshman Danica Migliore added a 3 pointer of her own. The Warriors had 4 3’s on the night.
Skowhegan was led by Jaycie Christopher with a game high of 26 points going 6 for 7 from the line. Skowhegan’s Callaway Lepage added 14 for the Riverhawks while Maddy Morris added 10.
The Warriors finish out the week traveling to Cony on Saturday January 8th.
