Jeff Hoak had the best week so far this season in Week 17, extending his lead overall to now five games over second place competitor Chris Lessner. Hoak, a two time pick champion of the Eastern Maine Sports weekly NFL pick’em contest, went 14-2 only tripping up on Las Vegas vs Indianapolis and Cleveland vs Pittsburgh. Third place is highly contested as well, as Anthony DelMonaco leads Cassidy Lessner by one game. Marc Calnan sits seven back of Cassidy. It’s the last week of the regular season and there is only two scheduled contests that has absolutely no bearing on playoffs or seeding with that being the New York Giants vs Washington and the Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings. New England, who clinched a playoff spot Sunday with a win over Jacksonville and a Miami loss to Tennessee, has an outside shot at the division title with a win over the Dolphins this Sunday and a Buffalo loss to the New York Jets.
