The Nokomis Warriors fell to the Lawrence Bulldogs in Lawrence’s Folsom gymnasium on Tuesday January 4th, 50-37.
The Bulldogs jumped out to an early start leading the Warriors 22-9 at the end of the first quarter.
Nokomis’ Bri Townsend led all scorers with 23 points including 7 for 10 from the charity stripe and having 2 3’s on the night. Sophomore Sydney King added six points and Freshman Addie Hawthorne added four. The Warriors were 11 for 16 from the line going 4 for 6 in the third and fourth quarter.
Lawrence was led by Nadia Morrison and Lily Gray. Both had 10 on the night going 2-2 from the line. Emily Hagerty and Ali Higgins chipped in nine and six for the bulldogs, each having 2 three pointers.
