In East Millinocket, the Schenck Lady Wolverines hosted the PVHS Lady Howlers of Howland on a Friday night battle of 7-1 teams.
PVHS defense was too much for Schenck, only allowing eight first half points and bettering that effort with just six points given up in second half. The 46-14 victory improved the Lady Howlers record to 8-1, while the Lady Wolverines fall to 7-2.
PVHS Freshman Ellie Austin tallied 18 points, five rebounds, and five steals. Junior Kaya Loring added six points, seven assists, and six rebounds. Senior Abbi Perrault scored six points to lead Schenck.
