Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. This week we had seven Rowell’s Garage female athlete of the week nominations. Luna Perry St. Peter averaged 20.7 points, 13 rebounds, and 5.3 assists to lead Deer Isle-Stonington to three wins. It is the third athlete of the week honor for Perry St. Peter

- Luna Perry St. Peter – Deer Isle-Stonington- basketball- recorded 22 points, nine rebounds, six assists, four steals and four blocks in 67-33 win over Jonesport- Beals. Recorded 28 points, 19 rebounds, 6 steals, 5 assists and 2 blocks in the 53-38 win over Narraguagus. Recorded 12 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks in 51-26 win over Searsport.

- Grace Jaffray- Ellsworth – basketball- scored 31 points in 61-46 win over Caribou.

- Callaway LePage- Skowhegan- basketball- had 25 points and 14 rebounds in 55-36 win over Cony.
