The Penquis Patriots scored 14 runs in the final three innings and held on for a 17-12 over Dexter at Milo on Saturday afternoon.
Corbin Cyr and Cayden Cyr powered the Patriots offense with three hits and three RBI each. Alvin Robshaw added five RBI from the leadoff spot. Caiden Fowles scored four runs and earned the pitching win. He allowed one earned run in 2.2 innings of relief.
Kayden Kimball had two hits and four RBI to lead the Tigers offense. Bryce Connor also had two hits. Ben Bourgoin added two RBI.
Penquis (2-1) will play at Bangor Christian on Monday. Dexter (2-2) will host Foxcroft on Monday.
