The New England Patriots have parted ways with wide receiver N’Keal Harry. According to the NFL Network Tuesday afternoon, Harry will be traded to the Chicago Bears in return for a seventh round draft pick in 2024.
Harry has been underwhelming to say the least in his three seasons in New England, making just 57 catches for 598 yards and four touchdowns. The 24 year old was a first round pick by the Patriots out of Arizona State in 2018. It is probably the lowest return the team could of gotten for the wide receiver, but chances were pretty slim of him making the 53 man roster for this season so any return is better than none. Harry caught two touchdown passes in both 2019 and 2020, but only started 18 games and never had a catch rate of above 58% in a single season. His best game was in 2020 when he had six receptions for 72 yards, but he never topped that yardage total and was the only game he recorded at least six catches.
