The New York Giants reduced their roster to the 4 p.m. deadline of 80 on Tuesday afternoon. One move was putting former University of Maine receiver Andre Miller on the season ending injured reserve with a forearm injury he suffered in practice two weeks ago. Miller was hopeful to make the 53 man roster after being converted to tight end, and showed a few bright spots in training camp including catching a short touchdown pass from quarterback Daniel Jones. The native of Old Town had 104 receptions for 1848 yards and 14 TDs in 39 career games at UMaine.
