The staff of Eastern Maine Sports is back to make their weekly NFL picks for a sixth season. Last year, Jeff Hoak claimed his third title. Marc Calnan and Chris Lessner have the others with one a piece. Week 1 of this season kicks off with a big time Thursday night showdown in Los Angeles, as the defending Super Bowl Champion LA Rams led by Matthew Stafford host a team many think will make a run for the Super Bowl again in Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Many more intriguing matchups as we get going in the opening week, including an NFC North tilt in Minnesota between the Green Bay Packers and the Vikings, an AFC North matchup between the Steelers and Bengals in Cincinnati, an AFC West tilt in LA between the Raiders and Chargers, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers face the Cowboys in the opener for a second straight year, and the New England Patriots are on the road for an AFC East battle with the Miami Dolphins.
