Faith Howland scored three first half goals to lift Hodgdon to an 8-2 girls soccer win over Katahdin on Friday.
Aleyah Matheson, Gracie Little and Meghan Peters each added first half goals for the Hawks, as they put six on the board in the first 40 minutes. Hope Howland and Madison Smith scored second half goals for the Hawks.
Hunter Hartsgrove had two goals for Katahdin. Emma Schmidt made 26 saves for the Cougars. Katahdin (0-6-1) will meet up with Hodgdon (6-3) again on Monday.
