Madison Smith recorded her third straight shutout to lead the Hodgdon Hawks girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over East Grand on Wednesday.
The Hawks scored early in the first half as Gracie Little put one in off a cross from Ella Suitter just two minutes into the contest. The Hawks would take that 1-0 lead into the half.
Hodgdon would add one more goal as Aleyah Matheson scored on a direct kick just outside the 18.
East Grand goalie Jayden Williams stopped 40 of 42 shots. Smith recorded four saves to record her sixth shutout of the season. The Hawks move to 10-3, East Grand drops to 1-9-1.
