Cally Gudroe put in three goals to lead the sixth seeded Dexter Tigers to a 5-0 win over the #11 Mt. View Mustangs in a girls soccer Class C preliminary round game on Friday afternoon.
The Tigers get off to a quick start with Gudroe scoring the first goal 9:53 into the match. Abby Corson assisted on the goal. Corson, herself, notched the second goal just over four minutes later. Claire Fogler assisted on the Corson goal. Jillean Poliquin tallied an unassisted goal with 26:46 to go in the first half. Gudroe wrapped up the first half scoring with an unassisted goal with 1:40 remaining.
Gudroe scored with 6:10 left in the game giving her a hat trick. That goal was assisted by Jozlynn Paige.
Jordan VonOesen made 11 saves on 22 shots for the Mustangs. Mt. View finishes the season with a 4-10-1 record. Hannah Dean made five saves on eight shots for the Tigers. Dexter (9-5-1) will travel to undefeated and third seeded Houlton on Tuesday.
