Gary Glidden had 316 yards and seven touchdowns on 39 carries in leading Hermon football to a 49-28 semifinal win over Oceanside. Glidden received 55% of the vote, Adam Savage (Skowhegan) finished as runner up with 33% of the vote.
Glidden joins Tyler Thayer – (2-17-14), Karli Theberge-(7) (5-29-16), Alex Allain (2) (10-23-17), Isaac Varney (2-19-17), Breanne Oakes (4-22-17), Garrett Trask (9-16-18), Wyatt Gogan (9-23-19), Sydney Gallop (2) (9-29-21), Lyndsee Reed (3) (4-28-22,and Natalie Tardy (who is the female winner this week) as student/athletes from Hermon high school that have been named athlete of the week.
