Jaydin Anderson and Skyler Tinker had 15 points each to lead Machias to a 52-37 win over Schenck in a girls basketball season opener for both teams.
The Lady Bulldogs outscored Schenck 16-5 in the second quarter to build the lead to 27-12 at halftime. Tinker had eight points in the first half, including six from the free throw line.
Jaida Case joined Anderson and Tinker in double figures with 12 points. Kristin Grant added six points, while Hayley Bishko and Maleah Rhodes chipped in with two points each.
