Kaya Loring’s Career High leads Lady Howlers to Victory.

The PVHS Lady Howlers were able to lead start to finish against the Mattanawcook Lady Lynx with a final of 47-41.

Both teams remained even with PVHS holding a slim lead of 11-9 after the first quarter. Then the Lady Howlers defensive pressure allowed them to go on an 18-3 run to enter half time with a 33-18 lead.

The Lady Lynx battled back in the second half cutting the lead to 43-39 late in the fourth quarter behind Addison Cyr’s post play.

Kaya Loring had a career high 26 points to lead PVHS, while sister Holly Loring added nine points and six steals. Addison Cyr lead the way with 18 points for MA.

PVHS will host the Stearns Lady Minutemen on 12/13 at 5:30. MA will host Woodland the same date at 6:30.
