Freshman Addison Cyr scored 20 points to lead Mattanawcook to a 68-15 girls basketball win over Woodland on Tuesday night. Mattanawcook jumped out to a 23-3 lead after the first quarter and expanded the advantage to 44-7 at halftime.
Freshman Megan House and Sophomore Lily Wotton added 12 points for the Lady Lynx. Mattanawcook (1-1) will play at Calais on Thursday night.
The Lady Dragons were led by Nicole Cox and Kaylin Hamilton with four points each. Woodland (1-1) will play at Schenck on December 20th.
