Each week we will put out teams that had a good week to vote on for team of the week.  The weeks will go from Friday through Thursday. Here are the teams for week one (12/9-12/15) .

• Cony boys basketball (3-0)- averaged 76 points in wins over Gardiner, Erskine, and Mount Blue.
• Dexter boys basketball (3-0)- started the season with wins over George Stevens, Mattanawcook, and Penquis.
• Machias boys basketball (3-0)- won games in different ways, winning a game over Schenck 34-31, while averaging 72 in wins over Woodland and Jonesport-Beals.
• Old Town girls basketball (3-0)- averaging 62 points a game while allowing 36 per game in wins over Caribou, Presque Isle, and Hermon.
• Washington Academy girls basketball (3-0)- started the season with wins over Narraguagus, John Bapst, and Bucksport.
• MCI girls basketball (3-0)- averaging 60.7 points and allowing only 25 per game in wins over Orono, Winslow, and Waterville.
