The PCHS Lady Pirates were looking for redemption for a season opening loss to Lee Academy. The Pirates got just that in a 48-22 win at Guilford on Monday night.
The Pirates presented an aggressive first half full court trap defense leading to 17 total steals, with Kendall Kimball and Abbey Ricker having five and six of them respectively. Kimball and Ricker both had a solid game. Kimball filled up the stat sheet with nine rebounds, six assists and eight points while Ricker ran down seven boards and chipped in a team high of 13 points.
Ava Goulette and Brylee Ricker also had eight rebounds each. Seven players found themselves in the scoring column, Hope Hunt adding 10 (three 3-pointers) while Goulette added seven. PCHS (4-3) will play at Stearns on Thursday night. Lee (1-5) will play at Schenck on Thursday.
